SO the way I See it the government needs to stop accusing everyone else of being greedy.
They have a kind of sickness! They are the ones who continuously want to raise taxes.
Now they ought to know that raising taxes causes people to reduce overall spending. After all they proudly declare this as one of their tools to redirect the behavior of Americans.
For example the tobacco industry is being phased out of existence by Government deliberately (or so I have heard them claim). The way the gov’t is doing this is through taxing the product so heavily that people are driven away from using it just by sheer cost.
And yet when you see them in action they don’t seem to get it all the rest of the time.
“Hey we need to make money, let’s add a new tax on cars! Increase the taxes!!!”
G.M. is too big to fail! but they are about to go bankrupt! We gotta bail them out. Why won’t people buy these cars? They’re too expensive. It must be because the car company is too greedy. Increase the taxes!
See the car company wasn’t necessarily the greedy one. It was the government that was to greedy.
The Government is the ones who keep raising prices. All they can say is “more taxes, more taxes”.
“Too many people are unemployed MORE TAXES“.
Why are they unemployed? Because the businesses which would hire them are paying so much in taxes they cannot hire new employees.
“More people want health care MORE TAXES” why can’t they buy the health care policies now? Because they cost to much due to the taxes.
“People want a better education for their kids, MORE TAXES”. why can’t they get a good education with what is spent on them now? I mean after all we spend more per student in this country then ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE WORLD. And we have the lowest educational quality. Why? Because the government has to interfere and create a bureaucracy that is unwieldy and expensive. The money isn’t spent on the students directly it is spent on the administrators and programs that gov’t has mandated the schools must do. And we have to have more money to administrate those. It doesn’t matter how much we pour in to the schools it will ALL get sucked up into some program that does little if anything to truly benefit the kids.
So who is the greedy one? Government. Not the manufacturers, not the teachers, not the doctors; the GOVERNMENT. And my fellow citizens I say “This needs to stop!” and it needs to stop NOW.
Smaller Government, Smaller taxes.

Kudos to Arizona!
That’s right I want to say congratulations to Arizona for making the bold and difficult choice to do the right thing.
Many people are totally against the recent legislation which passed in Arizona but what was done was needed! I hear people crying out how this will lead to racial profiling, or this is just an attempt to single out a race for harassment but I would disagree.
I believe if you have a certain person or group of people who are breaking the law then you need to arrest them. PERIOD!!!
It is NOT profiling or discrimination to bust someone for breaking the law.
“oh but this is aimed at Latinos.” they say. I say no it is not. The main perpetrators in Arizona may come over the Mexican border but they are Somalis, or they are Afghans, Venezuelans, or whatever. The point is they are here in our country ILLEGALLY! Therefore they need to be apprehended and dealt with as such.
On one of my favorite radio shows last night the host had a guest who asked the question “would you like to have to prove your citizenship every time you are pulled over?” And my answer is “I ALREADY DO!” if I am pulled over I have to show my driver’s license…oops that would be a proof of citizenship… people already are doing this every day. The only difference is that now the police in Arizona have the authority to, GASP!!!!!!!, enforce the law OH NO WHAT A HORRIBLE THING!!!
How about if I put it in terms all you Obama care advocates can understand… Since you are so up on doing EVERYTHING the way everyone else in the world does it… In ANY other country in this world you have to register with the local authorities and provide proof that you are there legally. If they are doing it why don’t we? I mean that WAS the argument you used to explain whyh we so desperately needed this really bad health care plan that is going to do nothing it promised but cost us twice as much. (Just like the guy YOU put into office.)
Oh but wait maybe THAT is the real problem you have with this. This will actually SAVE us money, it will do something positive for the American citizens and it is a GOOD idea.
Hmm that is a problem.
No really though think about it… Arizona has been named the kidnapping capital of the WORLD because of illegals coming up and kidnapping our citizens, they face crime epidemics of unparalleled audacity, (drugs, theft, rape, violent AND nonviolent crimes of all sorts.) They are seeing a sharp decline in heath care because of an over loaded system, and in the middle of all this they are seeing NO action whatsoever from the federal government. The Governor of Arizona has pleaded with the president for some kind of aid and has apparently had ALL her pleas fall on deaf ears.
I think it may be possible that the recent murder of a law abiding rancher at the hands of illegals was the tipping point.
When you have people being massacred in their own back yards you have to do something.
I think the real issue here is that the federal government is at fault for not doing something to fix the problem while there was still a chance.

What to do?
So I am dealing with a dilemma. First I am a little alarmed. At the same time I am impressed.
I am alarmed at the tactics of the Democrats. They are doing everything they can to wrongfully discredit all opponents, they are denying reality and making outrageous claims that are proven to be lies.
Yet I gotta tell you if half the stuff they do say is true then we ought to be giving these people major kudos and even sports contracts.
One of the situations I am referring to is a democrat senator who claims that a conservative threw a rock through his office headquarters in his home state. (oh those evil conservatives).
Turns out though that the office in question was 30 stories off the ground. I mean WOW that guy needs to be in sports!
Then there is the case of a man who allegedly spit, that's right spit, on a senator while said politician was walking through the crowds beside Ms. Pelosi on the way to congress.
Unfortunately for the politician the whole event was filmed and the film proof denies what he claims.
apparently a group has claimed they are going to defeat the tea party movement by exaggerating the actions of said group. they outright have claimed they will go out and infiltrate the tea party and deliberately misspell signs and they will loudly hurl epithets and in general act racist and whatever.
So all the things that we see going on that are so negative about the tea party are, apparently, deliberately engineered to discredit the tea party.
This is a little scary because what they are doing is denying people the chance to practice their constitutional rights.
I have to say that I am offended by these actions because I served in the U.S. Military to protect the freedoms that they are trying to walk all over.
if you cannot accept the fact that there are people who disagree with you or your view then you shouldn't be here.
and that brings me to one more point I keep wanting to make...
I live(d?) in the United States of America and I loved my country.
I loved my country because, while it was not perfect, it was a place that was created on a different premise... that "all men are created equal" and we saw a major difference in our country because of that.
We had better health care available to us because of our freedoms, we had the ability to say what we wanted without fear, we had the ability to live the life we wanted without interference from other people.
Now we have people saying "we need to have health care like Canada, or like France or like England.
My view is that if you want the health care offered in England or Canada or whatever then you need to move to those countries! The funny thing is that all the Canadians who could afford to would come here for their health care. If the Canadian system is so good why do they have to come here?
And similar concern is raised regarding all the other countries used as examples.
I mean both Canada and Mexico have the state sponsored health care option and yet we still get hundreds of illegal aliens coming up from Mexico for health care because even the cheap options here (E.R.'s) are a thousand times better than what is in Mexico. And as I said before the Canadians who can afford it come here too.
I say leave the health care alone... or is this really an effort to keep the illegals out? maybe that's it? if they are coming here to use the health care we have then if we change the care maybe they will stay away...
Whatever. I want the Government to keep their hands to themselves and stop trying to fix things in ways that make them worse.
